Sized right for day hikes or minimalist overnight trips, the Sierra Herald 30 pack has the fit and features to keep you comfortable over the long haul. The Herald 30 is equipped with Sierra’s Fulcrum suspension system, a molded composite frame sheet with a single DAC aluminum stay and a custom forged pivot at the waist belt. Drawing inspiration from the human skeletal system, the single stay mimics the human spine while the partial frame sheet corresponds to the shoulder blades and pelvis. The stay also rotates with your body, helping keep the pack weight close to your center of gravity. This improves your balance, provides superior support, and encourages a generous range of motion. Plus, the articulating waist belt keeps the load centered for increased stability while hiking.

Storage-wise, the panel-loading pack is hydration-ready (reservoir sold separately), and includes trekking pole loops, a large front pocket with organization, waist-belt pockets, and water bottle pockets. The pack even includes an integrated bottle opener for post-hike refreshments. Other features include side compression straps, a molded back panel, dedicated ventilation channels, and die-cut foam shoulder straps.
